FOOD FOREST SCHOOL

A place to grow, learn & belong.

When we first walked through the gates of the old, abandoned school, the classrooms were empty and the fields were dry. We did not see ruin. We saw a place waiting to be reborn. Today, The Forest School is being transformed into a living sanctuary for 150 children, including 30 orphans who have no one else to protect them. Here they eat food grown from the soil they help to tend, learn through curiosity and play, and rediscover what every child deserves: safety, dignity and a future.

 A MODEL THAT LASTS

Every part of the farm teaches, feeds and protects. It is a blueprint that can be replicated across rural Africa.

Every dollar you give strengthens the foundation of the Forest School; planting fruit trees that will feed children for years, filling water tanks that keep the gardens alive, lighting classrooms with safe solar, and supplying books, backpacks and tools that unlock learning.

Your gift becomes fertile ground: nourishing children, restoring land, and building a future shaped by the very hands that inherit it.

FUNDRAISE

Turn your school, workplace or club into a force that builds real change.
When you fundraise, you help construct the physical world these children learn and grow in.

Your efforts can complete classrooms, repair buildings, build shaded outdoor learning spaces, expand the gardens, install water tanks, support school meals, or create safe play areas.

Whether you are part of a school, a workplace team, a sports club, a university group or a community organisation, your event becomes something tangible at the Forest School.

Every event, big or small, builds something permanent and life-changing for the students.

FUNDRAISING CAN TAKE  MANY SHAPES AND THEY ALL CREATE REAL CHANGE:

Schools and classrooms can rally together through giving days, creative markets, or pre-loved book and clothing swaps. Sports clubs can turn match days into moments of impact, collecting donations or hosting friendly charity games. Friends, workplaces and community groups can take on sponsored runs, step challenges, or team wellness goals that raise funds with every kilometre moved. Even birthdays and personal milestones can become powerful online fundraisers, turning a simple celebration into seeds, classrooms, and futures for the children of the Forest School.

GIVE CHILDREN THE ESSENTIALS THEY DESERVE

Many children arrive at school with only what they are wearing. A donation drop provides the items that make learning comfortable, safe and joyful.

WHAT YOU CAN DONATE

Clothing for all seasons
Sturdy shoes for farming
Rain jackets and warm layers
Toiletries and hygiene items
Storybooks and early learning materials
Notebooks, pencils, crayons and art supplies
Toys, puzzles and play items

Every item you brings dignity, confidence and comfort to a child’s daily life.

HOST A DONATION DROP

Schools, workplaces, sports clubs, community groups and families can all host collection drives. Your effort directly supports children who need these items most.

We also invite brands to contribute excess stock, samples or quality seconds that can be repurposed to support the children and staff at the Forest School.
