PARTNERSHIPS

Regenerative partnerships for brands who want to build legacy.

We partner with organisations who want their sustainability to feel real, not performative.

Place-based impact. Visible outcomes. Meaningful loyalty.

ABOUT US

Food Forest Foundation is a grassroots organisation working in Zambia to regenerate land, strengthen food systems, and support long-term community livelihoods through practical, place-based action.

Our work focuses on building living systems; restoring degraded landscapes through tree planting and agroforestry, supporting regenerative farming practices, and developing community-led programmes that grow food, income and ecological resilience side by side.

We are not interested in surface-level sustainability. We are focused on the slow, patient work of regeneration, where progress is measured in healthier soil, stronger ecosystems, and communities with the skills and autonomy to steward their own futures.

Everything we build is designed to last beyond us. Knowledge is transferred. Systems are owned locally. Impact is rooted in place.

Our partnerships, programmes and projects are shaped around one guiding principle: real change happens when people and land are supported together.

WHY PARTNER WITH US?

People are more discerning than ever about who they engage with.
They notice what feels performative. They trust what feels real.

Brands partner with Food Forest Foundation because this work creates a different quality of relationship between a brand and its audience. It gives people something genuine to connect with. Something they can feel proud of. Something that reflects their values.

When impact is rooted in real places and real communities, it doesn’t feel like a campaign. It feels authentic. That perception shifts how a brand is experienced: from transactional to trusted, from interchangeable to meaningful.

And for that trust to hold, impact must be credible. That is why our work is visible and accountable. Partners can point to real sites, real activity and real outcomes. Not abstract claims, but grounded proof.

DONATION & CIRCULAR PARTNERSHIPS

Where surplus becomes shared value.

We partner with brands to thoughtfully redirect excess goods into meaningful use across our school, farm and community programmes, ensuring contributions support real needs, strengthen local systems, and uphold dignity at every step.

This is not about offloading excess.

It is about designing responsible, considered pathways for surplus to create genuine impact.

All contributions are assessed in collaboration with local leaders to ensure suitability, cultural fit and genuine usefulness. We prioritise quality, durability and long-term value over volume

VISIBLE GROUNDED IMPACT

Our work is embedded in real places, with real communities, over time. It is visible, documented and accountable. Partners are able to point to real sites, real activity and real outcomes, not abstract claims but grounded proof.

Impact is not only seen, it is also tracked. We work in partnership with Greensteps to monitor and evidence our programmes, ensuring that activity on the ground is recorded, measured and reported with integrity.

Where possible, partners are invited into the work in tangible ways. This can include visibility into where programmes take place, ongoing photography and storytelling from the field, and the opportunity to connect their organisation to a dedicated area of land, a named grove or site, or a visible long-term presence within the landscape.

The intention is simple: to create something real, enduring, and grounded in integrity.

Greensteps collaborates with Food Forest Foundation to bring transparency and accountability to environmental restoration. Through their digital monitoring technology, trees planted in Katambora are geo-tagged, mapped and documented, creating verifiable records of planting activity over time.

This partnership ensures that environmental outcomes are not abstract claims but visible, trackable actions rooted in real landscapes. Organisations and supporters are able to reference planting sites, view photographic documentation and follow the growth of restoration projects through verified data.

By combining local regenerative work with global environmental technology, the collaboration strengthens both credibility and impact. It enables partners to participate in restoration with confidence, knowing that every tree planted contributes to measurable, transparent environmental change.

PARTNER SPOTLIGHT:
UNDERATED INDIVIDUALS

Underrated Individuals is our storytelling partner, working to amplify African voices on the world stage through powerful, impact-driven media. They document and share our food forest model across international platforms, helping position community-led knowledge as a credible blueprint for climate resilience and food security.

Beyond storytelling, they are strengthening our long-term communications capability by developing content, supporting fundraising, building global connections, and elevating our work into policy and influence spaces. Together, we are turning local wisdom into global momentum for lasting change.
